The 2008-2009 Swamp Buggy Queen: Olivia Kathryn Culp

Olivia is an 18 year old graduate of Gulf Coast High School, where she is involved in cheerleading, the lacrosse team, photo club, Future Educator’s of America, and childcare classes. Olivia’s hobbies include being a volunteer t-ball coach for Sunset Optimist, competing in barrel racing events and racing in the demolition derby at the Collier County fair.


Olivia has actively participated in 4-H programs for ten years, during which she achieved Grand Champion Awards in raising swine, cattle, and in her showmanship. Olivia is a member of the Florida Alert Response Team and was part of the search and rescue efforts after Hurricane Wilma. She is also a member of the Community Emergency Response Team.


Olivia plans to attend Florida Gulf Coast University Fall 2008 to major in occupational therapy with a focus in pediatric rehabilitation.
